Gross... So last night I watched "The O.C." show for the first time. What can I say... did the world really need another "Dawson's Creek", or didn't we learn that these shows suck. So today i began reading Jacqueline Susann's "Once Is Not Enough" wow. JS is the author who wrote "Valley Of The Dolls" (if you haven't read this book, drop what you are doing and get yourself a copy).
Anywho... Once i n e is much more serious and I wasn't expecting it to be. oh well... I'm such a fan.

fuck... so tonight brion and i went to the madonna in to dance... there was this party group of people who were eating on the floor... anyway, this guy who was w/ them decided it would be a great idea to go on stage and sing for everyone... omg-d! he was so bad... but people kept egging him on 'cause it was funny... he was up there for four very long songs... he kept yelling "one more time"... DEATH! the biggest difference between a good singer and a bad singer is that good singers know when to take their bow and get off stage; a bad singer however will keep going long after the joke is over. ahhhh... so we leftposted by Lirit on 19:21
So my mom rocks... for Hanukkah this year she got me tickets to see Giselle at the San Fransico Ballet in Feb. 2005... Giselle is by far my favorite ballet...
If you are not farmilliar w/ the story here is a short description...
In Giselle, a prince, Albrecht, disguises himself as a commoner and rivals a suitor, Hillarion, for the affections of a peasant girl. Albrecht swears his love for Giselle and the two dance joyously. But Giselle's mother reminds her that she is not supposed to exert herself. In time, Albrecht is exposed. Further, it is revealed that he is promised to another. Giselle goes mad. She collapses, and dies.
The second act takes place in the eerie woodland inhabited by the Wilis, spirits of young girls who have been jilted and died before their wedding day. A sorrowful Albrecht enters. But any mortal who invades this supernatural domain is doomed to death. The Wilis attempt to dance Albrecht to the point of exhaustion, but Giselle intercedes, and saves the prince's life.
